My recent stay at Queens Guest House was good. The location was perfect, a mere 10-minute walk from the city center and attractions like Edinburgh Castle. The room was spacious and immaculate, though I did find it a bit too warm for my liking. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay even better, although I encountered a bit of noise from a neighboring room. Overall, I would definitely recommend this haven for anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Breakfast included a varied menu with lots of choices. I particularly enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast, though my toast could have been warmer. The service during breakfast was prompt, yet I felt a bit rushed at times.

The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with functioning Wi-Fi and tea-making supplies. However, I did notice some noise from the hallway light shining into my room, which disrupted my sleep.

My stay at Queens Guest House was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I had, while spacious and nicely decorated, felt quite claustrophobic without any real windows. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. but I did have my share of minor inconveniences with the tea supplies. Overall, a pleasant stay but not quite what I expected from a four-star experience.
